Words cannot describe how I feel about the passing of this wonderful, upbeat, terrific man. He has been so much a part of our family and our history that I think I speak for all of us “MacNeils” that we all felt he WAS family to us. Like a special Uncle who could always make us laugh. His sense of humor was unsurpassed and unlike anyone I have met or probably ever will. I will always remember how much my parents loved him and I know that the feeling was mutual. I will cherish the old photograph I have of he and my Dad when they were in the service together all those years ago along with all the others we have of them as the years went by. We all know that Paul and Al and Rita and all their friends who have left us are having a big bash up there somewhere!! He is someone who will always hold a very special place in my memories and my heart. Love to you Jeannie, Kathy, Robbie and Janet…Sara

We are very sorry for your loss. Mr. D was a dear man. I have enjoyed the pleasure of his friendship these past thirty years. He always spoke of the joy and happiness that his family gave him. He never forgot to call me on my birthday and I looked forward to our conversations, where I got all the updates on the family. I thank him for keeping me informed and will always treasure the special bond we had. Love and prayers are with you all, at this very difficult time. With our deepest condolences we wish you all the best.
    Love,
    Ray, Hollie, Jake, and Nikki.
