Jean Louise (Fitzgerald) Fucillo, a resident of Dedham, died Saturday, April 8, 2023 at the Deutsches Altenheim Nursing Home in West Roxbury. She was 89. Jean was born April 19, 1933 in Boston, Massachusetts, the daughter of Alfred and Louise (MacDonald) Fitzgerald. She was the wife of the late John Anthony “Junebug” Fucillo who predeceased her on December 15th of last year. Jean was an avid Red Sox fan and enjoyed gardening. traveling (especially cruises) and entertaining (her cookouts were legendary). Jean is survived by her two daughters, Christine M. Sullivan, and her husband Lawrence, of Dedham, and Karen L. Thomas, and her husband Jack, of Canton. She was also survived by he two grandchildren, Daniel Sullivan, and his wife Caitlin, of Norton, and Matthew Sullivan, and his wife Casey, of Somerset as well as her two great grandchildren, Keira and Phoebe Sullivan. Visiting hours will be held Tuesday, April 18th from 9 to 10:30 am at the Folsom Funeral Home, 87 Milton Street, Dedham followed by her Mass of Christian Burial at St. Anne’s Church, 90 West Milton Street, Readville at 11 o clock. Interment will be in Knollwood Memorial Park in Canton.
