Carolyn Mae (Adjutant) Berube, a longtime resident of Dedham, died Friday, August 4th, 2023 at her home in Dedham. She was 81. Carolyn was born May 20, 1942 in Biddeford, Maine, one of the six children of Norman Leroy and Ione Ruby (Campbell) Adjutant. She graduated from Biddeford High School and worked at various times for CVS, Star Market, and for many years as a waitress at Woolworth’s in Dedham. Carolyn enjoyed cooking, gardening, knitting and crocheting. She was the wife of the late Joseph Edward Berube and is survived by her two sons, Glenn Berube, and his wife Joann, of Weymouth, and Gregg Berube of Dedham; her daughter, Lynn White, and her husband Edward, of Norwood; her siblings, David Adjutant, and his wife Barbara, Diane Labbe, Gail Yankura, Jean Marcotte, and Jackie Adjutant, all of Maine; her seven grandchildren, Kelly, Stephen, Nichole, Courtney, Jessica, Vanessa, and Lyndon; and her four great-grandchildren, Makayla, Aiden, Kennedy, and Charlotte. Visitation will be held Tuesday, August 15th from 11 am to noon at the Folsom Funeral Home, 87 Milton Street, Dedham followed by the funeral service at the funeral home at noon. Interment will be in Brookdale Cemetery, Dedham
