Kathleeen Marie (Boucher) Cahill, a resident of Dedham, died Saturday, December 9, 2023 at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Needham. She was 88. Kathleen was born October 16, 1935 in Boston, Massachusetts, a daughter of Edward Peter and Kathrine Sarah (Burke) Boucher. She attended Dedham High School and worked as an electronics inspector for EPSCO Electronics. Kathleen enjoyed cross stich, needlepoint and crocheting. She is survived by her husband, James Joseph Cahill; her son, James J. Cahill Jr., and his wife Brenda, of Londonderry, New Hampshire; her daughter, Cheryl Murphy, and her husband Charles, of Hyde Park; and her sister, Maureen Olsen, and her husband Charles of Dedham. She was the sister of the late Edward P. Boucher Jr. She is also survived by her six grandchildren, Melissa Cahill, Melanie Cahill, James J. Cahill III, Michael Murphy, Daniel Murphy, and Evan Murphy, as well as three great grandchildren, Natalie Murphy, Savannah Cahill, and Caoilainn Cahill. Visiting Hours will be held Wednesday, December 20th, 2023 from 9 to 11 am at the Folsom Funeral Home, 87 Milton Street, Dedam followed by a funeral service at the funeral home at 11 ‘o clock, Interment will be at Brookdale Cemetery in Dedham.
