Robinson, Louise
Louise C. (McDonough) Robinson, a longtime resident of Dedham, died Monday, October 20th, 2008 at her home in Dedham after a brief illness. She was 89. Louise was born September 16, 1919 in Boston, Massachusetts, a daughter of the late Thomas and Lucy (Thorpe) McDonough. She was a graduate of Hyde Park High School, and served her country proudly as a Navy Wave during World War Two. She worked for many years as a secretary for the Westinghouse Corporation in Hyde Park. Louise was the wife of the late Walter Hodges Robinson who preceded her in death in 2001. She is survived by her son, Walter H. Robinson Jr. of Dedham; her daughter, Claire E. Vitale of Wrentham; and her two grandchildren, Lauren and Christopher Vitale. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Memorial Funeral Mass Thursday, October 23rd at 10:30 am at St. Mary’s Church, 420 High St., Dedham. After cremation, private burial will be in Brookdale Cemetery in Dedham. In lieu of flowers donations to the American Heart Association, 20 Speen Street, Framingham, MA, 01701 would be appreciated.
