We are so disappointed not to have been able to be in contact with Cousin Irene. All our letters to her nursing home in Roslindale from January,2010 on were returned with “No Forwarding Address” stamped on them. How could this happen? Her extensive family in Nova Scotia are very sad that we have been unable to be in touch with her or her caregivers during this time. She was a very warm and caring individual.

My grandfather was Eugene Carmen Welsh, born in Smith’s Cove, Nova Scotia. When I was very young, my mother Constance Welsh, used to take me to West Roxbury from our home in Dedham, to visit Uncle Rothy. As I remember, he had a brother. Since Mom passed away, I never knew my connection. What a blessing to know.
