Gardner, Jean F.

Jean Frances (Fogerty) Gardner, a resident of Franklin, MA for 47 years, died Tuesday, October 21st, 2008 at her home in Franklin.  She was 81.  Jean was born in Dedham, MA,  a daughter of the late John P., and Frances (Lynen) Fogerty.  She worked for 22 years in the cafeteria at the Wrentham State School until her retirement in 2002.  She is survived by her two sons, James J. Gardner and his wife Janet of Franklin, and George P. Gardner of Franklin; her two sisters, Barbara P. Neilson of Dedham, and Mary Long of Dedham; and her two grandsons, James K. Gardner and Joseph J. Gardner.  Visiting hours will be held Thursday, October 23rd from 4-8 PM at the Folsom Funeral Home, 87 Milton St., Dedham.  Relatives and friends will gather Friday at 9:30 AM at the Funeral Home and proceed to St. Mary’s Church, 420 High St., Dedham for her Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM.  Burial willl follow in Brookdale Cemetery in Dedham.  Donations in her memory to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen Street, Framingham, MA 01701 would be appreciated.
