Edman, Agnes
Agnes Ceralia Edman, a lifelong resident of Norwood, died Thursday, October 23rd, 2008 at the Ellis Nursing Home in Norwood. She was 91. Agnes was born in Norwood on December 3, 1916, the daughter of the late Carl and Hilda (Holstrom) Edman. She attended Katherine Gibbs School and worked for over 20 years as an Executive Secretary for US Steel Co in Boston until her retirement in the mid 1970’s. Agnes was the sister of the late Agvar Carl Edman and is survived by her friend Maureen Mandill of Norwood. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral Monday at 1 PM at the May Funeral Home, 85 Nichols Street, Norwood followed by burial in Highland Cemetery in Norwood. In lieu of flowers donations to the Make-A-Wish Foundation, One Bulfinch Place, 2nd Floor, Boston, MA 02114 would be appreciated.
