Calder, Mildred F.

Mildred Frances (Kinsman) Calder, a resident of Westwood for almost 70 years, died Sunday, January 30th, 2011 at her home in Westwood.  She was 90.  Mildred was born March 24, 1920 in Needham, Massachusetts one of the three daughters of James Perkins and Lillian Lucinda (Cook) Kinsman.  She grew up in Needham and was a graduate of Needham High School.  Mildred first worked at Raytheon and then at Rustcraft Greeting Card Company in Dedham for 25 years.  She was the wife of the late Donald C. Calder; the mother of the late Wendy Berlo; and the sister of the late Shirley and Lois Kinsman.  Mildred is survived by her son, Gary R. Calder of Canton; her four grandchildren, Bradford Maxfield, and his wife Diane, of Canton, Scott Maxfield, and his wife Sara, of Brimfield, Christopher Berlo, and his wife Diana, of Norton, and Matthew Berlo, and his wife Andrea, of Norton; and her eight great grandchildren, Jessica, Gavin, Zachary, Leland, and Elizabeth Maxfield, and Morgan, Dierdra, and Amy Berlo.  Visiting hours will be held Thursday, February 3rd from 7 to 9 PM at the Folsom Funeral Home, 649 High Street, (Route 109) Westwood.  Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Memorial Service Friday at 10 AM at the First Baptist Church, 808 High Street, Westwood followed by interment in New Westwood Cemetery in Westwood.

    Dear Diane & Brad and the entire family of GG’s
    We will not be attending either of the services due to
    Illness and the weather…………….we will always have wonderful memories of GG……and we will cherish them.
