Cannon, Gwendolyn
Gwendolyn Josephine (Greek) Cannon, a resident of Dedham, died Tuesday, November 4th, 2008 at the Charlwell Nursing Home in Norwood. She was 100. Gwendolyn was born October 7th, 1908 in Lunenberg, Nova Scotia, Canada, a daughter of the late George and Emma (Wilniff) Greek. She was the wife of the late James Patrick Cannon; the mother of the late James Edward Cannon; and the sister of the late Ethel Varnum. She is survived by her daughter Beverlee Hutchings of Norwood; her three grandchildren, Brian, Kevin, and David Hutchings; and her great granddaughter, Jennifer Hutchings. Visiting hours will be held Friday, Nov 7th from 4-8 PM at the Folsom Funeral Home, 87 Milton Street, Dedham. Gwendolyn’s funeral will be held Saturday at 10 AM at the funeral home, followed by burial in Vine Lake Cemetery in Medfield.
