Peterson, Doris E.
Doris E. (Fishburne) Peterson, a resident of Brighton Gardens in Dedham, and formerly of Westwood Glen in Westwood and of Boyleston Street in Boston, died Tuesday, June 28, 2011 at the Briarwood Nursing Home in Needham. She was 95. Doris was born December 8, 1915 in Boston, Massachusetts, one of the six children of Louis A., and Mary E. (Whitney) Fishburne. She was the wife of the late Waino “Pete” Peterson, and the sister of the late Henry Fisher, Ethel Mariano, Helen Re, and Lorraine Cauldwell. Doris is survived by her brother, Irvin Fishburne of California; her nephew, Richard Cauldwell of Walpole; her nieces, Linda Tangstrom of Franklin, and Elizabeth Burke of Wrentham; as well as several other nieces and nephews. Her funeral service was held Tuesday, July 5th at 11 AM at the Folsom Funeral Home, 649 High Street, Westwood. Burial was in New Westwood Cemetery in Westwood.
