Hills, Robert
Robert Sweetser Hills, of Westwood, died Monday, August 18th, 2008 at the Stanley Tippet House in Needham after a long illness. He was 87. Bob was born October 20, 1920 in Milford, New Hampshire, the only child of Bessie and Aubrey F. Hills. He earned his bachelor of science degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Boston, graduating with the Class of 1942. He served in the US Army during World War Two. He enjoyed traveling, and was a member of Constellation Lodge AF & AM of Dedham. Bob was the husband of Lois Mary (George) Lawson Hills of Westwood and was the husband of the late Irene L. (Osinski) Hills. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his two sons, Robert B. Hills of California, and David F. Hills of Westwood; and his three grandsons, Matthew Hills, Bo Hart, and Nate Hills. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Memorial Service Saturday, November 22nd, 2008 at 11 AM at the First Baptist Church, 808 High Street (Route 109), Westwood. Private interment will be in New Westwood Cemetery.
