MacAleese, Maureen
Maureen Margaret (Carey) MacAleese, a resident of Stoughton, and formerly of Dedham for 60 years, died Wednesday, October 10, 2012 at the Good Samaritan Hospital in Brockton, Massachusetts. She was 80. Maureen was born November 26, 1931 in Northampton, Massachusetts, one of the 13 children of Michael Dennis, and Elizabeth (Dole) Carey. She ran the Bingo games at O’Neil Drive. Maureen was the wife of the late John William MacAleese, and mother of the late John MacAleese. She is survived by her son, Edward MacAleese of Stoughton; her two daughters, Maureen T. Bubar of New Sharon, Maine, and Lynne T. MacAleese of Stoughton; her brother, Dennis Carey of Jamaica Plain; as well as 10 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. A graveside service was held Monday, October 15th at the Brookdale Cemetery in Dedham.
