Altobello, Audrey M.

Audrey M.  Altobello, a resident of Dedham for over 50 years, died Sunday, November 4, 2012 after a long illness.  She was 76.  Mrs. Altobello was born in Jamiaca Plain.  She was the daughter of the late Norville & Luella (Snodgrass) Bovaird.  Audrey loved to bake and be with her family.  She was predeceased by her husband Charles P. Altobello.  She is survived by her children Charles P. Altobello Jr and his wife Kimberley of Plainville and Jean McCarthy and her husband Peter of West Roxbury; her grandchildren Kaelynn and Eric Altobello and Brian and Jack McCarthy; her sisters Jean Zopatti, Ruth Biedermann, Shirley McDade and many nieces and nephews.  She was the sister of the late Alfred Bovaird, Frederick Bovaird and Evelyn Reid. Visiting hours will be held Wednesday, November 7, 2012,  4-8 pm at Folsom Funeral Home, 87 Milton Street, Dedham.  Funeral Thursday at 10 am at St. Luke’s Lutheran Church, 950 East Street, Dedham.  Burial in Brookdale Cemetery.  Donations in Audrey’s memory may be made to the Dana Farber Cancer Institute, 10 Brookline Place West, 6th Floor.

    Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you at this difficult time. As you know, your mom (and Nanny) was such a wonderful woman who loved her family so much. She touched many of us with her kindness–she will be missed by so many. May the warm memories you have of her bring you some source of comfort at this time.
