LaVita, Carol

LaVita, Carol cropped

Daniel & Diane Lavita = We would like to announce the homegoing of our mom Carol A. Lavita. We praise our Lord Jesus Christ with gratitude for giving us such a loving, kind and caring mom who was always there for family & friends. She worked faithfully at the V.A. Medical Center in West Roxbury Mass always concerned with the veterans making sure they got  the best care possible.  She was a great wife to our Dad Peter and after his death was a loving companion to Joe Sears for the last 16 years. Her brothers and sisters Jane, Barbara, Jim, Ken and Larry are, as we, very grateful for your prayers on her behalf. The Lord was gracious in bringing her home quickly with very little suffering.

Proverbs 31:10-12 Who can find a virtuous woman? For her prize is far above rubies. The heart of her husband doth safely trust in her, so that he shall have no need of spoil. She will do him good and not evil all the days of her life.

Visiting hours on Monday, December 2, 2013 from 7 to 9PM at 87 Milton St., Dedham.  Interment will be private.

Carol, you were the best stepmother I could ask for. I will miss you so very much. Thank you so much for being you. You are an inspiration to me with all that you have fought through. I love you!

My deepest sympathy as I just can’t find the words to express all that’s going on in my mind & heart. I will always treasure the fact I was blessed with knowing Carol & sharing in family events. She was a great person & always made you smile or laugh (especially when you were suppose to be serious). I will fondly cherish all the great pictures & memories I have & forever be greatful I was excepted as “part” of their family. Rest in peace Carol…you are forever in our hearts. xo
