Alan Crasco, 66, died on November 11, 2014 at Massachusetts General Hospital with his wife by his side.

Alan is survived by his wife Linda (Matson) of Norwood, his daughter Allison Smith and her husband Paul of Medfield, his mother Alice Buckley of Norwood, and his brother John Buckley of Weymouth.  He was preceded in death by his father Alfred Crasco and step-father John Buckley.

Alan was born on March 12, 1948 in Boston.  After graduating from high school he worked at various jobs.  He was a textile worker for many years before his retirement.  Alan married Linda in 1980 after less than a one month courtship and they then spent the next 34 years getting to know each other.  They had a beautiful daughter, Allison, who had Daddy wrapped around her finger from the moment she was born.  Alan was owned by Bruschi the dog, Gloria the cat, and Keno the parrot.

Alan was a movie buff, enjoyed fishing off his boat, and coached the New England Patriots through the TV. He also loved practical jokes- Linda and Allison were his favorite victims.  He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Alan was my first cousin I knew him all his life. He had a rough go of it when he was younger, but after he met and married Linda his life turned around. I can say he had a good life with Linda, and was very happy. We will all miss him very much. Say Hi to every one for me Alan
