Paglucca, Anthony S.
Anthony S. Paglucca, a longtime resident of Dedham, passed away on November 17, 2014 at the age of 94. He was a Dedham High School graduate, Class of 1937 and played on the football team. A World War II veteran of the United States Navy. He was stationed in Cuba and operated PT boats. He also played baseball while in Cuba for the Navy team as their catcher. Mr. Paglucca was a carpenter and member of the Carpenters Union, Local 67. He was an avid sportsman. He almost became a professional bowler and loved to play golf at George Wright Golf Course. He was married to the late Leonilda (Panciocco) Paglucca and together they raised 2 children, Stephen A. Paglucca and Stella L. Brown, both of Dedham. He was the brother of Caroline Paglucca of Norwood and was predeceased by his brother Joseph. He is also survived by 1 niece and 4 nephews. Visitation is scheduled for Thursday, November 20, 2014 at 9AM prior to a funeral service at 10AM at the Folsom Funeral Home, 87 Milton St., Dedham. Interment will be in Brookdale Cemetery.
