Norman was not only a wonderful husband, father and grandfather, but also a wonderful Uncle to me and my two sisters, Andrea and Janis. I have many fond memories of Norman, including him standing in our kitchen for seemingly hours with his coat on while Aunt Nancy would every 15 minutes say, “C’mon Rick”.

Rick was so kind to me. I was his next-door neighbor in Norwood, and a friend of Wendy’s. He took me camping with his family every summer. Just what he needed- another kid in the car. His sense of humor was wonderfully droll, and he was unfailingly cheerful. Nancy, Wes and Wendy, and families, I wish you all peace and healing, during this difficult time. Love, Marcia

I have such fond memories of Uncle Norman. Family Christmases for many years where aunts, uncles and cousins would gather late in the day to share a Christmas meal and festivities, including the annual family picture. It was fun to be included on summer family trips north in the camper, and later when we were grown up with our own children, to always be welcome at the Rickard family home in Maine with boat rides on the lake and evening barbeques! Uncle Norman will be missed.

We have lots of good memories of Rick and Nancy for over 55 years. A lot of church fairs, couples club and then in retirement having them volunteer at the Norwood Food Pantry. Now their son, Wes, has taken up that gauntlet along with the other employees of his firm. Rick was a great guy and willing to serve and help where he could. We will miss him.
Rest in Peace, friend. Love Bob and Ruthie
