Richard David Finn, a longtime resident of Dedham, died Friday, December 12, 2014 at his home in Dedham.  He was 88.  Richard was born October 12, 1926 in Medford, one of the eight children of John and Margaret (Cahill) Finn.  He served as a seaman first class in the US Navy during World War Two, earning his honorable discharge on October 2, 1947.  Richard worked as a busdriver for the MBTA and was a member of the American Legion, the VFW, and the Moose.  He was the husband of the late Jean P. (Hay) Finn who predeceased him in 1995.  Richard is survived by two sisters, Mary Bozoian of Avon, and Margaret Clifford of Loveland, Ohio; a brother, Robert Finn and 14 nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by his siblings; William Finn, Helen Giordano, Leonard Finn and Joan Finn.  Relatives and friends are invited to gather at the Folsom Funeral Home, 87 Milton St, Dedham Thursday at 10  AM and proceed to St. Mary’s Church, 420 High Street, Dedham for his Mass of Christian Burial at 11 o clock.  Burial with military honors will follow at Brookdale Cemetery in Dedham.  In lieu of flowers donations to Moose International, 155 South International Drive, Mooseheart, IL 60539 would be appreciated.
