Contardo, Jillian
Jillian Nicole Contardo died unexpectedly May 10th at her home in Dedham. She was 16. Jillian was born in Newton and grew up in Dedham. She was a sophmore at Dedham High School. Jillian was a former 4H Club member in Walpole. She was an accomplished Violinist and Musician, and a member of the Allin Church Youth Group. And . . . . .she loved frogs. She is survived by her mother, Toney Jo Hanson of Dedham; her father, Robert E. Contardo of Everett; three brothers, Nathan P. Hanson, and his wife Amanda, of Grand Forks, North Dakota, Jon-David Hanson, and his partner Susie Peterka, of Dallas, Texas, and Jordan M. Hanson of Phoenix, Arizona; three sisters, Conley Jo Anderson, and her husband Nick, of St. Paul, Minnesota, Melissa Contardo of Dedham, and Tiffany Leahy of Everett; her maternal grandfather, Coleman J. Barry of Dedham; her dear friends Ashley Abraham of Dedham, and Jillian Montesano of Needham; as well as 2 nephews and a niece. Visiting hours will be held Sunday, May 17th from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the Folsom Funeral Home, 87 Milton St., Dedham. Jillian’s funeral will be held Monday at 11 AM at the Allin Congregational Church, 683 High St, Dedham followed by burial in Gethsemane Cemetery in West Roxbury. Donations in Jillian’s memory to the Allin Congregational Church, 683 High Street, Dedham, MA 02026 would be appreciated.

Jillian was such an amazing person. She will be loved and missed by all of her family and friends. I’ll never find another friend like her. She was such a good friend, aunt, sister, and daughter. The sudden and tragic loss of Jillian has shocked and saddened us, no words can express our sorrow. We have wonderful memories of times we spent with Jillian at Youth Group, we loved her very much and will never forget her. She was a beautiful, vibrant young lady and we will always remember her as such. We take comfort knowing that she is safe in the arms of the Lord in heaven.

Jillian was my best friend for such a long time. It broke my heart to find out about this. Although Jillian and I drifted apart as friends, we were starting to get close again. Jill was an amazing person, and was always there to help her friends and family when they needed her most. I hope everyone can remember the good times they had with Jillian. I know she wouldn’t want everyone to be upset and sad. As for Jillian’s family, I am very sorry for your loss, and hope you know that she is now and angel watching over everyone protecting her family. Jillian is always on my mind, and forever in my heart.
Jillian You were truley the best little sister I could have every asked for. You were my bestfriend and I have never been the same after losing you. Please watch over me and everyone who Loved you.
