Robert C. Smith, Jr. of Dedham passed away on January 22, 2016.  Born in Norwood, Massachusetts, he was the son of Anna Lanoue (Ricci) of Dedham and the late Robert C. Smith, Sr.  Robert enjoyed traveling to different places on his motorcycle and going to concerts.  The 70’s era and the Blues were his favorite concert venues. He was a proud grandfather.  His two granddaughters, Anabell and Adelyn were his greatest joy.

He was the father of Robert C. Smith, III and his wife Lylah of Bellingham, the grandson of Anna F. Ricci of Dedham and the late Alfred Ricci.  The loving companion of the late Jill Cole and brother of the late Michael Smith.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral on Thursday, January 28, 2016 at 11AM at the Folsom Funeral Home, 87 Milton St., Dedham.  Interment will be private.  Visiting hours will be on Wednesday, January 27, 2016 from 5 to 7PM.  In lieu of flowers donations in his memory may be sent to the Muscular Dystrophy Association, 33 Lyman St., #205, Westborough, MA  01581

    So so sorry to hear this, Bobby did my taxes for over 5 years, I enjoyed catching up with his story’s every year and joking as we commented how we get older every time we see each other, I had an appointment with him this Saturday, will miss seeing him. My love to the family

    I’ll miss you. You were my boss and a good friend so many years back. We also got together within the past 4 years and had a good time. I’ll miss you.
