Ingham, Winifred E.

Winifred Elise (Heimuller) Ingham a resident of Norwood since 1950, passed away on March 6, 2016 at the Norwood Hospital after a brief illness. She was 98.  Winifred was born in Roslindale, Massachusetts on January 23, 1918, she was the daughter of Edward Jacob and Elise Agnes (Zapf) Heimuller.   Winifred was a graduate of Roslindale High School, Class of 1936.  While living in Norwood, Mrs. Ingham was an active member of Grace Episcopal Church, serving on the Alter Guild and teaching Sunday school.  She was the beloved wife of the late John Albert Ingham who predeceased her in 2008, and is survived by her son Richard E. Ingham, and his wife Fran, of Wrentham.  Winifred was predeceased by her brother Richard Stephen Heimuller.  Relatives and friends are invited to attend her graveside service on Friday, March 11, 2016 at 11:15 am at the Massachusetts National Cemetery at  Bourne.  In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the MSPCA, 375 Huntington Ave., Boston, MA 02130, to the Alzheimer’s Association of MA, 480 Pleasant St., Watertown, MA 02472, or to the VFW, 406 West 34th St., Kansas City, MO   64111.

    I am so sorry to hear about the passing of your mom. You and Fran are in my thoughts and prayers. I will miss seeing you at Charlwell House, but I am wishing you the best in your future. You have been a wonderful devoted son and I am sure you have made her proud. May she rest in the sweetest of peace
