Mary was a joy to meet and be near. With all her own problems she was the joy and happiness to all. Mary was close to her caretaker and friend, Jennifer Shaw Olson. This is how we met her. She came to family functions at Jennifer’s home and to our Church in Norwood, when she was able. Mary never let her own problems stop her from doing what she wanted to do. Jenny would take her to the family home in Nantucket. They would sit and watch the boats and other activities going on around them. Jenny’s children got to know her and loved her. Mary will be missed by us and especially Jennifer. Rest in peace, Mary. We love you.
