Tatiana Y. Prokhorova (Burtseva), a resident of Sudbury passed away on May 17, 2017 at the age of 68. Born in Khabarovsk, Russia she was the daughter of Yakov A. Burtsev and Alevtina S. (Ulyanova) Burtseva. “Tanya”, as she was known, was the beloved wife of Nikolay N. Prokhorov and loving mother of Nadezhda Piskun and her husband Nikolay of Sudbury and sister of Olga Ilina. She is also survived by her 2 grandchildren, Katya and Sergei.
Visiting hours will be held on Sunday, May 21, 2017 from 5 to 7 PM at the Folsom Funeral Home, 63 Belgrade Ave., Roslindale. The funeral service will be in the funeral home Chapel on Monday, May 22, 2017 at noon followed by interment in Forest Hills Cemetery, Boston.
