Barbara C. (Smith) Bolanes of Dedham, formerly of Roslindale, passed away on October 9, 2017 at the age 87. Barbara was the devoted wife of the late George E. Bolanes, and the loving mother of George A. Bolanes of West Roxbury, Brenda J. Naddaff of Hyde Park, the late Mark W. Bolanes and the late Douglas D. Bolanes. She was the loving grandmother of Alycia and Zachary Bolanes, James Naddaff, the late Thomas Picarello, and the late Douglas Bolanes Jr. She is also survived by her great grandchild Trent. Visiting hours for Barbara will be held on Thursday October 12th from 6-8PM at the Folsom Funeral Home, 63 Belgrade Avenue, Roslindale. Her funeral will be held on Friday October 13th at 11:00AM at the funeral home followed by interment in Forest Hills Cemetery, Boston.
