Ochs, Thelma K.
Thelma Kathleen (Rawding) Ochs, a resident of Highland Glen in Westwood, and formerly of Norwood, died Sunday, March 25, 2018 at the Norwood Healthcare Nursing Home in Norwood. She was 89. Thelma was born August 24, 1928 in New York City, New York, the daughter of Grant Hicks and Marguerite Edith (Harrison) Rawding. She was a graduate of Dedham High School and worked as a waitress at Mary Hartigan’s Restaurant in Dedham for eight years and then later as a receptionist at the Milton Hospital for 16 years. Thelma is survived by her brother, Grant H. Rawding, and his wife Lorraine, of Stuart, Florida. She was the sister of the late Lewellyn S. Rawding, and the longtime companion of the late George Wilbur. Private interment will be in Pine Hill Cemetery in West Bridgewater.
