My deepest condolences on the loss of your mother. My mom, Carol Stearns, was a lifelong friend of Edie’s and grew up next door to her in Dedham. Edie was the Maid of Honor at my parents’ wedding. My mom was able to chat with Edie recently and I’m so glad they had that opportunity to reconnect and reminisce. Mom is now in a nursing home and couldn’t be at the services but she was there in spirit. Again, I offer my sympathies for your loss.

My dear, dear friend. Will miss you Edie. My condolences to her family. I met Edie as a freshman in high school and we became immediate friends. The last time I was in Dedham, we met for coffee. She e-mailed me that she was very sick, but I was hoping we would see each other this fall. RIP Edie, Love, Eleanor (Conley) Pooree
