I was very sad to learn of Bob’s recent passing. Bob and I worked together at the US Patent and Trademark Office for quite a few years. As Bob was more senior and more experienced than I, he was a terrific mentor to me and was always so patient in tutoring me in the details of trademark law. We became good friends and played a lot of basketball and softball back in the day (we didn’t play much tennis together because Bob was just too good of a player). Anyway, my memories of Bob are that he was a really great guy and my sincere condolences go out to his family.
