Sage, Marjorie A.
Marjorie Alexandra (Brown) Sage, a resident of Westwood, died Thursday, September 27, 2018 at the Ellis Nursing Home in Norwood. She was 98. Marjorie was born June 24, 1920 in Trinity East, Newfoundland, Canada, the daughter of Hezekiah and Mary Jane (Batstone) Brown. She worked as a self employed seamstress and was a former member of the Emmanuel Episcopal Church in West Roxbury. Marjorie was the wife of the late Homer Joseph Sage, and the sister of the late Burleigh M. Brown, Carl J. Brown, A. Marie Smith, and Lucy Baker. She is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Marie Cook, and her husband Bruce, of Westwood, and her two grandchildren, Paul J. Cook, and his wife Samantha, and Jesse M. Cook. Visiting hours will be held Thursday, October 11, 2018 from 10 to 11 am at the Folsom Funeral Home, 649 High St., Westwood followed by her Memorial Service at the Funeral Home at 11 o clock. We will then proceed to The Gardens at Gethsemane Cemetery, Baker Street, West Roxbury for her interment.
