Vangel, Victor M. Jr.

Victor Manuel Vangel, Jr., the beloved husband of Kristina Emily (Condon) Vangel, died unexpectedly at his home in Dedham, on Friday, November 23, 2018.  He was 55.  Victor was born August 15, 1963 in Boston, Massachusetts, the only child of Victor M. Sr., and Joan (Armington) Vangel.  He graduated from Hyde Park High School and was employed in a variety of occupations culminating in the operation and ownership of his landscaping company, Vito’s Landscaping.  Victor was an avid Boston sports fan – Patriots, Bruins, Red Sox, he loved them all.  In addition to his wife Kristine, he is survived by his son, Victor M. Vangel III of Dorchester; his daughter, Kelsey Vangel of Dedham; his daughter-in-law Nicky Vangel; and his three granddaughters, Janiah, Norah, and Kinsley Vangel; as well as a much anticipated grandson to be born shortly.  Victor was the father of the late Kenneth Vangel who died last year. Visiting hours will be held Sunday, December 2nd, 2018 from 2-4 pm at the Folsom Funeral Home, 87 Milton Street, Dedham followed by his funeral service at St. Luke Lutheran Church, 950 East Street, Dedham at 4:30 pm.  Interment will be private.

    My condolences to all of you..in the short time I known him he showed so much love for his family especially his granddaughters. He loved spending time with them.. I feel so sorry for my granddaughters Norah and Kinsley who did not had the pleasure to enjoy his company and love as they grow..

    Vittorio you will be missed by all of us..

    Im still at a loss for words over this. My deepest and most heartfelt sympathies to all of you. He was such a wonderful man loved his family more than anything always included everyone in everything. A smile that lit up the room.

    Wow I’m just seeing this havnt seen Victor in years I meant him in recovery and I wouldn’t be standing here if it wasnr for him.. He was a great man very said seeing this.
