Karen P. Brickley, a resident of Carver, formerly of Dedham, passed away on December 6, 2018 at the age of 66.  Born in Boston and was the daughter of Earl and Patricia (Scarpaci) Brickley.   A graduate of Needham High School, she worked for the West Roxbury VA Hospital as a Dietary Aide for 37 years before retiring.  Spending time with her Great Nephews was always a great source of joy for her.  She was an avid Celtics fan and knew all the players names.  Karen also enjoyed watching the Patriots, her favorite game shows and being in her home was where she felt the most happiest and comfortable. Karen was a joy to be around. Her compassion and love for her family was unparalleled.  Karen was the loving Sister of Susan Cole of Carver  and the late Kevin “Boomer” Brickley and dear Aunt of Holly DaFonseca and her husband Miguel of Plymouth and Great Aunt of William, Noah and Tyler DaFonseca.

Relatives and friends will gather for a one hour visitation on Tuesday, December 11, 2018 at 10AM with a funeral service at 11AM at the Folsom Funeral Home, 87 Milton St., Dedham.  Interment will follow in Brookdale Cemetery, Dedham.  In lieu of flowers, donations in Karen’ memory may be made to BWH, Inc., Development Office, 116 Huntington Ave., Boston, MA 02116.
