Wohler, Mary Theresa

Mary Theresa (Muir) Wohler, a reesident of Middleborough for the past 31 years, died Saturday, September 5th, 2009 at the Morton Hospital in Taunton.  She was 75.  Theresa was born Jan 23, 1934 in Washington, DC, a daughter of Robert and Mary (Lydon) Muir. She grew up in Norwood and graduated from Norwood High School with the Class of 1952.  Theresa worked for a brief time as an adminstrator to the purchasing manager at Tobey-Deutchman Company in Norwood.  She was an artist who specialized in painting landscapes in oil paint.  She also enjoyed gardening, birdwatching, flowers, and nature.  Theresa is survived by her husband David H. “Darby” Wohler; her daughter, Karen J. Wohler of Norwood; her three sons, David E. Wohler, and his wife Mary, of Raynham, Michael J. Wohler, and his wife Lita, of East Walpole, and Patrick L. Wohler, and his wife Laureen, of Lakeville; her sister, Patricia Alty of Norwood; eight grandchildren; and her great grandson, Darby.  She was the sister of the late James Muir, and the late Catherine Kannally.  Visiting hours will be held Tuesday, September 8th from 5-9 PM at the May Funeral Home, 85 Nichols Street, Norwood.  Services and interment will be private.  Donations to the New England Sinai Hospital, 150 York Street, Stoughton, MA 02072 would be appreciated.
