Geary, Dorothy
Dorothy M. Geary (Mancusi), a long time resident of Westwood passed away on April 15, 2019 at the age of 90. Born in Boston, she was the daughter of Charles and Rose (Savino) Mancusi. Mrs. Geary was retired from the Norfolk County Probate Court in Dedham where she was employed as an Administrative Assistant. She was the beloved wife of the late Michael V. Geary and the loving mother of William J. Geary and his wife Kristi of Boston and Michael J. Geary and his wife Patti of Florida. She is also survived by her 6 grandchildren; Katie, Heather, Michael, Will, Chris and James.
A private funeral Mass was celebrated on Wednesday, April 17, 2019 at St. Ignatius Church, Chestnut Hill followed by interment in Old Westwood Cemetery, Westwood, MA. In lieu of flowers donations in her memory may be made to Society of St. Vincent De Paul, c/o Director of Development, 2403 Holcombe Blvd., Houston, TX 77021 or www.svdphouston.org

Auntie Dottie was witty, smart and pleasant company. She was beloved by many and was well cared for by her son’s. May she rest in peace.
Bill and Michael: So sorry to hear of Dottie’s passing..she was a gem. She spoke endearingly of you guys while I worked with her at the Court. She loved showing off the designer handbags she received from you guys. In recent years I would see her at the Big Y..her laugh was still infectious ! May happy memories bring comfort.
What a gem. The laughter that came from Dot and Mike was priceless, and T.G. They passed it on to you boys. Not so much fun at Fox Hill now that Dot’s gone. We miss her. May she Rest In Peace. Dick Toland
I have such great memories of Dottie-while working with her at the Probate Court, we had many laughs. Loved it when Dot’s mom (Rose) would come to the Courthouse to visit or drop something off to Dottie. Dottie was a wonderful and sweet person. My deepest sympathy to Michael & Billy and their respective Family. Rest in Peace Dottie.
