William Alfred Ferdinand Walter, a resident of Westwood, died Sunday, July 14, 2019 at the Morton Hospital in Taunton. He was 91. Bill was born November 27, 1927 in Boston, Massachusetts, a son of Arthur and Martha (Brahmen) Walter, immigrants from Germany. He graduated from Roslindale High School and served in the US Army from 1950 to 1952 during the Korean War. Bill worked as a fine mechanic assembling x-ray equipment for the Franke Scholz X-Ray Company of Boston. He is survive by his wife Renate Elizabeth (Hampe) Walter; two daughters, Kristi Elizabeth Sinkus of New Bedford, and Erika Louise O’Sullivan of Esat Bridgewater; his brother Henry Walter; 4 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren. A Memorial Service is being planned at a time to be announced. In lieu of flowers donations to the Boylston Schul-Verein, 8 County Street, Walpole, MA 02081 would be appreciated.
