Treseler, Paul E.

Paul Edward Treseler, a resident of Plymouth, but formerly of West Roxbury and Norwood, died Thursday, June 10, 2021 at the Beth Israel Medical Center in Plymouth.  He was 81.  Paul was born July 16, 1939 in Boston, Massachusetts, the son of Frederick C. and Ruth (Schaffner) Treseler.  Paul was raised in West Roxbury and graduated from Brighton High School.  He worked as the Service Manager for Howard Chevrolet on Belgrade Avenue in West Roxbury and then for Clay Chevrolet in Norwood until his retirement in 2009.  Paul enjoyed cooking, worldwide travelling, the Boston Red Sox, and bowling at Sammy White’s on Route 1 on the Dedham/Boston line until it closed in 1980.  He is survived by his wife, Leslie Ann (Borman) Treseler; his four sons, Paul J., and his wife Eileen, of Millis, Richard F., and his wife Maureen, of West Roxbury, David M., and his wife Amy, of Rowley, and Joseph A. Zambella, and his wife Tara, of Pembroke Pines, Florida; his twelve grandchildren, Kelly, Kevin, Catherine, Michael, Bridget, Brendan, Owen, Jordan, Jonathan, Alexa, Kaitlyn, and Xander; and his great granddaughter, Emma.  Paul was the brother of the late Marjorie Kaup, the late Frederick Treseler, and the late William H. Treseler.  Visiting hours will be held Friday, June 18th from 9:30 am to 11:30 am at the Folsom Funeral Home, 63 Belgrade Avenue, Roslindale followed by a funeral service at 11:30 in the funeral home.  Interment will be at Knollwood Memorial Park in Canton.  In lieu of flowers, donations to the Jimmy Fund, c/o the Dana Farber Cancer Institute, 10 Brookline Place West, 6th Floor, Brookline, MA 02445 would be appreciated.

    A life well lived with family and long lasting friends of over 40 years. His humor and antics leave us with so many memories.
