Ardis Elizabeth Hooper

Ardis E. Hooper passed away peacefully in Millis, MA, on February 20, 2026 at the age 96.

Ardis was born in Brewster, MA and spent her childhood in Brewster, Hyde Park and eventually the family moved to Dedham. Ardis worked for Boston Envelope Company in Canton, MA. until they closed in 1985. She worked various jobs until her retirement and then she cared for her great nephew.

In 2006 Ardis and her sister Arlene moved to Millis to live with Arlene’s daughter and family. Ardis was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur L. Hooper and Marion E. (Forsythe) Hooper, her sister Arlene (Hooper) Fisher, her brother Douglas A. Hooper, her niece Elaine A. Fisher and nephew Douglas R. Hooper.

She is survived by her nieces Robin M. (Fisher) Johnson and her husband George of Foxboro, Alison G. (Fisher) Horan and her husband John of Mansfield, and Lynn E. Fisher-Cote of Millis. She is also survived by her great nephews Christopher D. Hill and his wife Pamela of Bridgewater, David C. Horan of Mansfield, Wesley J. Cote and Griffin M. Cote of Millis MA. Ardis is also survived by her great, great nephew Logan S. Hill of Bridgewater.
