Carol F. Vento

Carol Frances Vento, a resident of Hyde Park, died peacefully at the Brush Hill Care Center in Milton.  She was 77.  Carol was born January 31, 1948 in Boston, Massachusetts, one of the three daughters of Albert Thomas and Mary (Sakevich) Vento. She earned her Masters degree in Education and taught mathematics at West Roxbury High School for 35 years until her retirement in 2006. Carol was an avid reader also enjoyed crafting, knitting, crocheting, and gambling.  She frequently bartended at the Polish Club in Hyde Park .She is survived by her husband James Robert French, and her two sisters, Virginia C. Ferrara of Hyde Park, and Sandra M. Vento of Lexington, as well as three godchildren and many nieces and nephews.  Visiting hours will be held Friday, January 2nd, 2026 from 10 am to noon at the Folsom Funeral Home, 87 Milton Street, Dedham.
