Celia J. Putignano

Celia Joan (Beatrice) Putignano, a resident of Dedham since 1962, died Tuesday, October 10, 2017 at Cornerstone of Canton.  She was 95.  Celia was born March 8, 1922, a daughter of Fortunato and Grace (Luca) Beatrice, immigrants from Italy.  She was a member of St. Denis Parish of Islington, and bowled for many years with the St. Denis Bowling League.  Celia was the wife of the late Michael Putignano, and the sister of the late Grace S. Beatrice.  She is survived by her daughter, Caryl J. Moses, and her husband George F., of Dedham, and her three grandchildren, Benjamin, Grace Anne, and Zachary Moses.  Visiting hours will be held Friday, October 13th from 4 to 7 pm at the Folsom Funeral Home, 649 High Street, Westwood.  Relatives and friends are invited to gather at the funeral home starting at 9:30 am on Saturday, October 14th and proceed to St. Denis Church, 157 Washington Street, Islington for her Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 am.  Interment will follow in the Gardens at Gethsemane Cemetery, Baker Street, West Roxbury.
