Cynthia Estes

Cynthia Estes, a resident of Westwood for over 40 years, died Thursday, November 24, 2011, at the New England Sinai Hospital in Stoughton. She was 81. Mrs. Estes was born in Williamsport, Pennsylvania, the daughter of the late George T. and Marguerite (Rathmell) Waggoner. She graduated from Williamsport High School and American University in Washington, DC.  Mrs. Estes worked in hematology research for 10 years at the Peter Bent Brigham Hospital, in Boston. She was predeceased by her husband, Dr. J. Worth Estes, and her parents. She is survived by many friends. Funeral services will be held Thurday at noon at the Folsom Funeral Home, 649 High Street, Westwood. Burial will be in New Westwood Cemetery.  Donations in her memory may be made to New England Sinai Hospital, Rehabilitation Department, 150 York Street, Stoughton,MA. 02072.
