Dana C. Burton

Dana Charles Burton of Medfield, Massachusetts, passed away after an illness on May 30, 2025. He was born in Boston, Massachusetts, on December 3. 1950. He was the beloved son of the late Kenneth MacKay Burton and the late Dorothy (Charles) Burton. He is survived by his loving brother Kenneth David Burton and his wife Mary of Dedham, Massachusetts, his cherished nephews Andrew Burton, his wife Sarah and their daughters, Lily and Norah of Dedham, Massachusetts and Daniel Burton and his wife Rachel of Taunton, Massachusetts.

Dana was a longtime Dedham resident, graduated from Dedham High School and studied at East Coast Aero Tech. He worked as a foreman at American Publishing Company and as a forklift driver at a tile company in Watertown, Massachusetts He loved spending time outdoors, camping, hiking and especially fishing in the White Mountains of New Hampshire. He also enjoyed woodworking, building a kayak as his last project. He was a faithful Red Sox and New England Patriots fan. He will be greatly missed by family, friends and neighbors.

Funeral services by Folsom Funeral Service are private as was Dana's wishes.
