Deborah Ann Tripp, of Norfolk, Massachusetts, passed away on September 12, 2025, held close by her family. Born and raised in Norfolk, MA, Deborah lived with a generous heart, a sharp wit, and a spirit that made every room brighter.
She had a gift for listening, the kind of person you called in moments of joy, trouble, or uncertainty, knowing she would answer with honesty, humor, and love. Her trademark sarcasm could make you laugh through tears, and her wisdom always seemed to arrive at just the right time.
Deborah’s creativity was woven into every part of her life. She quilted with remarkable skill, made music part of her days, and delighted in designing and building alongside her husband, Steven. With a camera always in hand, she captured life’s fleeting beauty, from family milestones to quiet scenes in nature. Some of her happiest moments were spent on day trips with Steven, chasing the horizon in search of ocean vistas and covered bridges, always seeing the world through an artist’s lens.
She is survived by her husband, Steven Tripp; her children and their spouses, Amy and David Bright, Jamie and Leigh Tripp, and Adam and Amy Tripp. She was the beloved grandmother of Haley, Cameron, and Chase Bright, and Paige, Payten, Parker, and Stella Tripp. She also leaves her siblings, William Parkinson and Beth Stacki (Parkinson). Deborah is now reunited with her brother Donald Parkinson and her sister Diane MacDonald (Parkinson). She will also be dearly missed by her loyal dog, Boo, who rarely left her side.
Deborah’s legacy lives on in every quilt she stitched, every photograph she framed, every laugh she sparked, and every life she touched. To know her was to be loved deeply and without condition.
