Grace Heron

Grace Newhall (Hale) Heron, a resident of Stow for the past 19 years, and formerly of Lexington, died Friday, August 28th, 2009 at the Stanley Tippet House in Needham.  She was 89.  Grace was born February 6, 1920 in Ware, Massachusetts, a daughter of Charles Samuel and Helen (Wilson) Hale. She worked as the Office Manager for the Concord Recreation Department for over 10 years.  Grace was the wife of the late Raymond Adams Heron, and is survived by her two sons, Lee Heron of Stow, and Dana R. Heron of Marin County, California; her daughter, Ann B. Heron of Berkeley, California; and her sister Barbara Porter of California.  A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.  In lieu of flowers donations to the Stow Council on Aging, 380 Great Road, Stow, MA 01775-2127 would be appreciated.
