Herbert R. Aylsworth

Herbert Rufus Aylsworth, a former longtime resident of Dedham, died January 19,2019 at the Marina Bay Healthcare facility in Quincy.  He was 78.  Herbert was born January 8, 1941 in Medford, Massachusetts, the only son of Herbert G. and Jeanette M. (Day) Aylsworth.  After high school Herbert served in the US Army during the Vietnam era.  He worked as an engineer for Cosentini Associates of Cambridge.  Herbert was the husband of the late Margaret E. (Bigelow) Aylsworth.  After her passing he moved to Roslindale, and then to Riverbend Assisted Living in Quincy before moving to Marina Bay.  Herbert was the father of Richard S. Ayslworth and was the brother of the late Chloe Cummins.  A graveside service will be held Friday, Feb 8th at 1:00 pm at Brookdale Cemetery in Dedham.
