John Joseph Gonski

John Joseph Gonski, a resident of Norwood, died Wednesday, January 21, 2026 at his home in Norwood after a brief illness.  He was 55. John was born December 28, 1970 in Norwood, Massachusetts.  He graduated from Dedham High School with the Class of 1988 and worked as a telecommunications technician for the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) Local 103 in Boston.  John was an avid guitar player.  He was the son of the late Sylvia (Hickey) Gonski who predeceased him in 2019, and is survived by his father, Chester Gonski  of Dedham as well as his siblings, Steven, Richard and Christine Gonski, and her Fiance John Coppenrath all of Dedham, and Greg Gonski and his fiance Michelle, of Norwood; and his girlfriend Jen Remolete. Beloved uncle of Deborah Gonski, Ayla Gonski, Kristen Geyer, Jonathan Gonski, and his wife Aisha, and Steven Gonski Jr. Visiting hours will be held Tuesday, January 27th from 4 to 7 pm a the Folsom Funeral Home, 87 Milton Street, Dedham.  John's funeral will be held Wednesday, January 28th at 10 am at the funeral home followed by interment in Brookdale Cemetery in Dedham.
