Mark D Dempsey

Mark Duane Dempsey, 60, of Mansfield, Massachusetts, passed away Tuesday, May 6, 2025 at his home. Mark was born June 17, 1964 in Norwood, MA. He graduated from Dedham High School with the Class of 1982. Mark excelled in wrestling and went to the state championship. He spent the majority of his career as a carpet installer. He loved watching sports and enjoyed many summers at the beach with his family.

Mark is survived by his daughter, Casey Dempsey of Weymouth; his sister, Jane Davis and husband Paul, of Upton, and his brothers, Christopher Dempsey, and wife Lisa, of Dexter, Maine, Sean Dempsey and wife Donna, of Canton. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Mark was the son of the late Jane Frances (Cavanaugh) Dempsey. He is predeceased by his brother Lawrence Dempsey (surviving wife, Nancy) and his sister Cheryl Maloney and her husband Stephen.

Visiting hours will be held Friday, May 16, 2025 from 9 to 10 am at the Folsom Funeral Home, 87 Milton Street, Dedham, followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Anne's Church, 90 West Milton Street, Readville at 10:30 am. Interment will be private.
