Ralph Maglio of Westwood, beloved husband, father, brother and uncle passed away from cancer at the age of 63, surrounded by his loving family.
Ralph grew up in Dedham, Massachusetts, and was a proud graduate of Xaverian Brothers High School and Boston College. He worked in a variety of sales positions throughout his career and was admired for his humor and his gift for conversation. Ralph loved talking to everyone, whether he had known them for years or just met them. He had a remarkable ability to make people feel welcome.
Above all, Ralph was devoted to his son Michael and his wife Sheri, who were the center of his world. He loved spending time with his family, and especially enjoyed cheering on his nieces and nephews at their various sporting events. A lifelong fan of Boston sports teams, Ralph especially loved football and rarely missed a Patriots game. He took great joy in cheering on his teams and talking sports with friends and family.
Ralph is survived by his loving wife, Sheri Amara; his cherished son, Michael Maglio, his sisters Joni Maglio of Wareham, his sister Mary Labonte and her husband Brett of Wareham, and his sisters-in-law, Lori Amara, Kara Amara, and Sara Harkins. He also leaves behind many nieces and nephews who adored him. He was predeceased by his mother and father, as well as his beloved nephew Daniel.
He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew him.
A wake will be held Monday, June 30 from 8:30-10:30 am at Folsom Funeral Home, 649 High St in Westwood followed by Ralph's Funeral Mass at Saint Denis Church, 157 Washington St., Westwood at 11 o clock. Interment will be in New Westwood Cemetery, Westwood. Donations may be made to America Needs Fatima, PO Box 341, Hanover, PA 17331.
