Richard Lloyd

Richard Harold Lloyd, a long time resident of Norwood, passed away in his home on July 5, 2020.  Born in Quincy, he was the son of Thomas W. and Marjorie G. (Hill) Lloyd.  Mr. Lloyd was an avid sports fan.   While attending North Quincy High, he played football, left tackle position.  Through the years, he faithfully attended all of their Thanksgiving games.  He enjoyed the comedian and ventriloquist, Jeff Dunham.  A devoted father and grandfather, family was extremely important to him.  He was the beloved father of Christopher Lloyd of Troy, Ohio, Matthew Lloyd of Whitman, Rosie Martin, Jessica Valladares and Lori Martin, all residents of Boston and for many years the loving companion of Marie Martin.  He is also survived by his grandchildren; Elijah, Isaiah, Gabrielle, Isabelle, Mikayla, Olivia, Julian, Markus and Gianna along with his siblings; Paul Lloyd of Texas, Thomas Lloyd of Norwood and Douglas Lloyd of Quincy.  Services and interment will be private.
