It is with heavy hearts, and a profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved father Robert “Bobby” Bambini, who passed away peacefully at sunrise on November 4th 2026, following a courageous battle with lung cancer. He fought with strength, determination, dignity, love, and the same quiet resilience that defined the man he was throughout his life.
Born September 9th 1964, and raised in Hyde Park, Massachusetts, Bobby was an unbelievably hard working man that never seen a day of clean hands. He believed in the value of a Gods honest hard days work, being a man of his word, and being a good, respectable man that others could count on. He was a loyal, kind, dependable man, and never afraid to lend a helping hand to others in need.
But what truly defined him was his heart. He was a kind, and gentle soul with a quiet strength, and a heart bigger than words could ever describe. He would give you the shirt off his back without a second thought. He wasn’t a man who needed to be the center of attention, or needed recognition for the kindness showed . Helping others simply came natural for him , and because that’s who he truly was . He wasn’t someone who expressed his love through grand gestures , or elaborate words, instead, he showed his genuine love in ways that mattered the most— by his actions, by his many sacrifices, by being there, by making his family , and the people around him feel taken care of. His love for his family was immeasurable but felt everyday . He had a passion for Nike Cortez sneakers and was always sporting a brand new pair of kicks.
Above all else he was a beloved, devoted father, grandfather, son, brother, and friend. His children, and grandchildren were the most important part of his life, and the love he had for his family will remain his greatest legacy. He was our hero.
He leaves behind his beloved sons, Robert, Michael, Nicholas and his partner Molly Powers; his daughter Lauren and her partner Anthony Dimarzio; his cherished grandchildren, Anthony Bambini, Tyler Bambini, Brooklynn Bambini, Mila Bambini, Anthony Dimarzio, Isabella Dimarzio and Vincenzo Bambini, and his siblings Christine Bartolomeo, Laura Black and her husband Mark and the late Raymond Bambini and the late Donna Chambers. He also leaves many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends who will forever hold him close in their hearts .
There are people in this world who leave a lasting impression not because of what they said , or accomplished, but by the way they made others feel. He was one of those people. He never asked for much, but gave so much to so many. While our hearts are broken by his passing we find comfort in knowing that his suffering has ended, and the love he gave so freely continues to live on through his children, grandchildren, and everyone whose life he touched.
He will not be remembered for the battle he fought at the end of his life, but for the beautiful, selfless way he lived all the years before it.
Rest peacefully in the Fathers house Dad. You’ve spent your life taking care of everyone else; now it’s your time to rest easy. You, your strength , your kindness, and your love will never be forgotten, ever. We love you so much. We will carry you, and all the lessons you’ve taught with us for the rest of our lives, always.
