Robert W. Witzeman

Robert Winfield Witzeman, a longtime resident of Westwood, died Monday, July 2nd at Highgate Manor Nursing Home in Dedham after a long illness.  He was 93.  Bob was born June 27, 1919 in Bay Ridge, New York, one of the two sons of Charles Landreth and Charlotte (Mattern) Witzeman.  He attended Rensaellar College in New York.  Mr. Witzeman worked for McGee Carpet Company as a factory representative for thirty years until his retirement in 1984.  Bob is survived by his dear wife of 66 years, Ruth Mary (Baker) Witzeman; two daughters, Charlan Chapman of Stratham, New York, and Diane Ladouceur of Westwood; as well as 4 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.  Services and interment will be private.
