Roseanna May Brierly

Roseanna May (Caron) Brierly, a longtime resident of Dedham, died Thursday, July 10, 2025 at the Charlwell Nursing Home in Norwood.  She was 96. Roseanna was born October 21, 1928 in Halifax, Massachusetts, the daughter of Joseph Donat Edgar and Alice Mary (Martin) Caron. She enjoyed knitting and crocheting, gardening and floral design, dancing and singing. She also enjoyed time spent on the beaches of Cape Cod.  Roseanne is survived by her daughter, Diane Kovar of Dedham; her two sons, James P. Brierly of Norton, and David W. Brierly of Taunton; 10 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, and many great great grandchildren.  She was the sister of the late Doris Rand.  Visiting hours will be held Thursday, July 17th from 6 to 8 pm at the Folsom Funeral Home, 649 High Street, Westwood.  Relatives and friends are invited to attend her graveside service Friday, July 18th at 12:30 pm at Mount Benedict Cemetery, 409 Corey Street, West Roxbury.
